Privacy

Only what you give us, plus what the product records as you use it.

• Account details. Your name, email address, phone number and password. The password is stored hashed; nobody at LUSU can read it.
• Job seeker profile. The position you are looking for, your city, years of experience, skills, availability, salary expectation, work history and education.
• Your CV and photo, if you upload them. A photo is optional and you can apply without one.
• Employer and company details. Company name, industry, location, logo and the information submitted for verification.
• Activity on the product. Jobs you post or apply to, the status an employer sets on your application, saved jobs, notifications and messages between an employer and a candidate.

This is the part worth reading closely. A LUSU employer can see a candidate’s full profile, photo, CV and contact details in exactly two situations.

• You applied to their job. Applying sends your profile and CV to that employer so they can review you. They can see when you applied, and you are told when they open your application.
• You listed yourself in the talent database for a position and a city. You choose to be listed, either from your own account or by leaving the sharing option on when you apply to a job. Employers hiring for that position in that city can then find you, read your profile and CV, and message you. You can withdraw a listing at any time, and once withdrawn you stop appearing in their searches.

Employers see a limited profile (job title, skills, city and years of experience). They open a candidate’s contact details and CV by spending points.

LUSU administrators can see accounts, companies, jobs, applications and talent listings. They need this to verify employers, answer reports and moderate the product.

LUSU does not sell your data and does not send it to advertisers.

Job listings are public, with a “Not verified yet” label until LUSU verifies the employer: the title, company, city, salary if the employer chose to show it, the applicant count and the hiring stage. Search engines can index them.

Your job seeker profile is not public. It is never shown on a page that a signed-out visitor can open, and it is not indexed by search engines.

• Edit your profile, replace your CV or remove your photo from your profile page at any time.
• Withdraw a talent database listing from your positions page. You can list yourself again later.
• Withdraw an application while it is still being considered.
• Ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it by writing to support@lusu.app. Applications you already sent stay with the employer’s hiring records unless you ask us to remove those too.

Your account and profile are kept while your account is open. Jobs, applications and messages are kept as part of the hiring record they belong to. When you ask us to delete your account we remove your profile, CV and photo.
